Church text message templates
26 free, ready-to-send templates for the moments that matter most: welcoming guests, reminding people about events, asking for prayer, and more. Copy any one, swap in your details, and send. No sign-up required.
Five rules for texting your church well
- 1. Get permission first. Only text people who opted in, and make the first message identify your church. It's the law (TCPA) and it's good manners. See how opt-in works →
- 2. Always allow opt-out. Honor "STOP" instantly. People trust a list they can leave.
- 3. Write like a person. Use first names, send from a real person, and keep it warm, not a press release.
- 4. Keep it short. One idea per text. Longer messages get split into multiple segments (and cost more, estimate your cost →).
- 5. Invite a reply. The best church texts start conversations. End with a question when you can.
